Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement
SAM law engages in all areas of practice involving intellectual property protection and enforcement in the Philippines, including the filing of applications, maintenance and registration of trademarks, patents, industrial designs and utility model, as well as registration of Technology Transfer Agreements, and product and service licensing agreements with the Intellectual Property Office.

Labor and Immigration
The firm handles proceedings involving the enforcement of labor and employment laws before various agencies such as the Bureau of Labor Relations (BLR), Department of Labor & Employment (DOLE), National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB), National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Services of the department include family and other matrimonial matters, probate of wills, settlement of estates, property disputes, land registration, banking and other commercial disputes, insolvency, foreclosure proceedings, intellectual property infringement and election controversies.
Since we do not encourage unnecessary and / or protracted litigation, it is the policy of the firm to always be candid with a client regarding the merits of his case from the very beginning.


Retainer & General Counseling
In order to provide flexibility as a service-oriented firm, we have several general practitioners who can readily provide assistance with regard to day-to-day legal requirements and general counseling.
Retainer services include legal consultations and contract documentation relating to the routine operations of the client. Consultations cover advice on the pertinent laws, rules and regulations which may have a legal implication on a client's activities. Documentation covers the preparation, review and notarization of agreements and contracts.
For purposes of mutual growth, we encourage clients to maintain a retainer agreement with the firm.
Special Projects & Other Services
Special projects refer to the more complex cases which require the services of two or more departments for the success of the undertaking. This normally occurs when a client has to deal with complicated legal issues arising from complex mergers and / or multifaceted business arrangements involving local and foreign companies.
Because of the intricacies involved when working on endeavors of this nature, it is the firm's policy to require an update of all its special projects during the Management Committee's weekly meetings.
